Is it possible to turn that rush that comes from closing a business deal or having a brief, passionate affair into an enduring sense of wholeness and peace? Kabbalah, according to its increasingly large group of practitioners, is the path from that fleeting feeling of pleasure that most people settle for to the lasting fulfillment that is their birthright as human beings. In El poder de la Cabal , renowned teacher Yehuda Berg shows how to view and navigate through life by tapping Kabbalistic truths. He explains the key process of transforming from a reactive to a proactive being that will in turn trigger increased creative energy, greater personal power, and a stronger and more satisfying sense of life. These teachings include embracing rather than avoiding problems and obstacles as true opportunities for spiritual development; making miracles through positive thinking; and accepting responsibility for what happens in one's life.
Tired of being manipulated and taken advantage of? Want to learn how to influence and motivate others, turn associates into friends, and win in any competition? Then consider reading Get Anyone to Do Anything and Never Feel Powerless Again by David J. Lieberman, bestselling author of Never Be Lied to Again and nationally recognized leader in the field of human behavior.
Based on psychological principles, this book is less about manipulation and more about observing and influencing people (including yourself) and learning how to take control of situations. Most of Lieberman's techniques are straightforward, user-friendly, and practical. You'll learn simple ways to make a fantastic first impression, get people to return your phone calls, and stop a rumor before it ruins you. You don't even have to read the text to benefit. To help you get the upper hand quickly, strategies are reviewed at the end of each chapter. While some suggestions are obvious (smile and make eye contact), the five sections and 40 chapters contain many gems that can help improve your life. --Ellen Albertson

Not very useful:
Compared to 48 Laws of Power and 33 Strategies of War by Robert Greene, this book is worthless. It barely skims the surface of the psychology of influencing people, with little tricks that might be useful sometimes. Robert greene's books improved my entire life. This book is just a novelty.
if you read one you read them all:
the problem with the author is if you read one book you pretty much read them all. 80% is rehash of his prior books.
I can't believe I bought this:
The title is a lie. There are several techniques that they claim will work "anywhere" and "anytime" and they wont. One of the "techniques" that you are supposed to use is that if your looking for a mate have an attractive person of the opposite sex with you when you want to attract a person your choosing. Why, might I ask, would you not just date the person that is more attractive than you if you thought they were so attractive? And how am I supposed to use that "technique" during an email, letter... more info
Buy this book. It will change your outlook.:
I would recommend this to anyone. I have several copies that I loan out to friends. It's not a book on how to manipulate or be deceptive, but rather how to be perceived how you want to be perceived in order to achieve the things you want to achieve. Works for career, relationships, annoying neighbors, family etc.. just helps you communicate effectively both verbally and non verbally. Excellent book, very quick to read, and contains chapter summaries to help you learn the key points almost like a study... more info
