The Living Insights Study Bible:
This Study Bible lives up to its name - providing insightful, thought provoking, easy to understand commentary from Charles Swindoll. As someone who has never read the Bible before, I am grateful to have found this study Bible to help me in my understanding of God's Word.
This is a great Bible!!:
I received this Bible as a gift a few years ago and fell in love with it. A couple months ago, a gentleman who did not have a Bible asked if he could have mine. I gave it to him, but then began searching for another to replace it. I finally emailed Insight for Living and they told me it was no longer in print. An Out-of-Print Gem:
Radio teacher and pastor Charles Swindoll put out this study bible a few years ago--only to see it virtually disappear off the book shelves soon after. Today (January, 2007) getting a used copy will cost $25 and above (for the softcover), which is a pity. Swindoll has an expertise for putting Biblical truths with descriptive clarity and insight. Wonderful tool to study God's Word!:
I have worn out my first copy of "The Living Insights" Bible by Charles Swindoll (Editor). It is printed in the NIV version and which makes the text easy to read. It has Book introductions, articles, that dig deep into the Christian faith and tear down any misconceptions one may have about doctrine.
