Filled with errors and sloppiness.:
This book covers much of the essential GIS skills. The book's usefulness is nullified by a large number of errors and general sloppiness. If you are checking your answers (which are in the back of the book), take any answers with a grain of salt. In general, a succession of factual errors (such as miscalculating the number of feet in a mile), layout errors (diagrams not remotely close to where they are listed) and vague wording made me wonder if the book had been copy edited.
