International Jerusalem Post
The Jerusalem Post is Israel's premier English-language newspaper, and has
been for more than 50 years. It started out as the Palestine Post during the
British Mandate, and switched to its current name after Israel became a state.
It has moved ideologically over the years from left to right - we remember it in
the 1980s when it was relatively leftist and used British English, and now it is
perhaps a bit right of center politically. For unbiased news reporting on events
in Israel, you can't beat it (at least in English). The Jerusalem Post is truly
a window into Israeli life. We recommend it heartily. Buy a subscription, and

The Jerusalem Report
The Jerusalem Report is a hard-hitting news magazine from Israel, and it has
excellent coverage of political, strategic, military, and cultural news with
analysis. It also includes coverage of the Jewish world outside of Israel, from
an Israeli perspective. Very well-written, and very thought-provoking, the
Jerusalem Report manages to not pull punches in its coverage of Israel and the
Jewish world, yet we find it nonetheless sympathetic. If you're looking for the
news, warts and all, but not written from the perspective of the nouveau
journalism trying to be "evenhanded", this is for you. Buy a

Moment
Moment magazine is independently published, meaning that it's not sponsored
by a Jewish organization of any kind. Its articles and photo essays range from
lyrical to sensational, and Moment does not back away from controversial topics.
It maintains editorial balance by including opposing viewpoints. Probably its
longest-running feature is the Spicebox, a collection of little gems with typos
and other very funny items published and found by readers.
